Gold prices in Pakistan
On Friday, the Pakistani market saw a significant decrease in gold prices as the Pakistan rupee strengthened against the US dollar during interbank trading.
The All Pakistan jewelers Association reported that the price of 24-Karat gold fell by Rs2,800 per tola, reaching Rs1,93,200 per tola.
The price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold decreased by Rs2,400, reaching Rs1,65,838. Meanwhile, the international market saw a $15 decrease in the price of one ounce of gold, which was trading at $1,824 per ounce.
On the other hand, silver prices remained stable in the country, with 24-Karat silver trading for Rs2,100 per tola on Friday in the local market.
