Xiaomi Launches an Underpowered Redmi Note 12 Pro in Pakistan at High Price

Xiaomi, the leading global technology company, has officially introduced the Redmi Note 12 Pro in Pakistan.

The device, boasting 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, can be acquired at the cost of Rs. 99,999 on mistore.pk. However, it has already been completely sold out. There is a possibility of an upcoming launch of an 8GB/128GB version at a more affordable price.

The previous iteration of this series was offered at a significantly lower price, which contributed to its widespread popularity. The Redmi Note 10 Pro was attainable for under Rs. 50,000 during its initial release. Since then, smartphone prices have surged by almost 50% due to currency devaluation and increased taxes.

As for its specifications, the Pakistani variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro is furnished with the identical 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay, boasting a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering this phone is the slightly less powerful Snapdragon 732G chipset, housing an Octa-core CPU that can achieve speeds of up to 2.2GHz, which was also present in the preceding two generations of the device.
